St Mark Lutheran Church is a community deeply rooted in Christ. We are committed to loving each other and our neighbors in the life God has called us to live, while supporting each other, our neighbors, and nurturing real, meaningful relationships.

Who We Are

  • Rooted in Christ, Loving, Supporting, and Nurturing

    Our vision reflects who we are and who God is shaping us to be. Rooted in Christ, we seek to live out His love by caring for one another and nurturing faith within our congregation and beyond. We based our this statement firmly in scripture, drawing from Eph. 3:17 and Col. 2:6–7.

  • “[May] Christ dwell in your hearts through faith – that you, being rooted and grounded in love…[may] know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:17 & 19 

  • “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7

  • “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

  • “…to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God...” Ephesians 4:12-16

Who We Are

  • Our core values guide how we live together as the people of God. They shape our worship, our service, and our care for one another as we faithfully follow Christ in all that we do.

    Worship stands at the heart of our life together. As we gather around God’s Word and Sacraments, we are strengthened in faith, filled with joy, and sent out to share Christ with the world.

  • Embodying Christ’s Compassion by Humbly Serving.

    Christ calls us to serve as He first served us. With humility and compassion, we seek to reflect His love through acts of service that care for neighbors near and far.

  • Nurturing Spiritual Growth and Maturity by Sharing Christ.

    God nurtures His people through His Word, prayer, and life together in the Church. Through spiritual care, we support one another as we grow deeper in faith and maturity in Christ.

  • Wisely and Faithfully Managing God’s Resources Entrusted to Us, Seeking His Will.

    Everything we have is a gift from God. Stewardship is our faithful response—wisely managing the time, talents, and resources entrusted to us as we seek His will. description
